Reason why a home gym is a smart investment
Why train at home when you can go to a public gym?
Here are a few reasons:
- Cost- A gym membership for a year can seem costly against
buying equipment that will last longer.
- Privacy- If currently unfit it can seem more attractive
to train with privacy.
- Time restraints- Busy lifestyles may mean odd hours to
train, which may not fit into hours the gym is open.
- No pressure- watching others train at a higher level can
sometimes put undue pressure on us to perform before
- Less complex- often, walking into a public gym can seem
overwhelming trying to work out which machine does what and
where to start.
- No waiting- At home, you never need to wait for equipment
to be free.
- Convenience- no traveling, no packing gear, no shared
amenities, no forgotten water bottles.
Never start out blind, without a sensible training plan and correct technique. If you cause yourself an injury or don't get the desired results, any effort will be wasted and that can be disheartening. If overweight, or haven't trained in a while, a quick checkup at the doctor is highly recommended.
Take care to eat well, and get good advice on safety. Consider contacting a personal trainer for a consultation session. Many offer these at a discounted price compared to a full session.
Starting out can be on a small scale, and you can gradually build up the equipment. Often you need less equipment than you'd think to get much of the same results you would working out with machines.
Buy good equipment, then you won't have to invest in equipment often due to wear and tear. Home gym offers many positive points, provided you get proper advice beforehand.
Remember, the goal is to get healthier. Transform your body into a stronger, more efficient, and more effective state. You can, at any age, build your muscles, improve your shape, and appearance.
About D Goosby of JDs Organic Productions
👨👩👧👦 This is my story, and I'm sticking to it... except when it changes... as life does.
D Goosby, the D of JDs Organic Productions, is a wife and a mom to 8 beautiful kids including 2 sets of twins. At one point, she weighed close to 300 lbs and then lost half of it just to put most of it back on. D eventually got tired of the yo-yo; she learned some hidden truths about our food system and decided to get educated and make lasting changes. D studied to become a certified personal trainer, nutrition coach, and peristeam practitioner because she realized that she was not alone in wanting to make healthy lifestyle changes but lacking the knowledge to make anything permanent.
🧘🏽♀️ That is what D does today, she helps busy moms like herself, get back to where they feel good again, they look the way they want to look and they get to be a healthy role model for their families and friends.
