📖 3 Strategies to Instagram Growth

Updated: Nov 28, 2020

Instagram is an important social media outlet. To ignore its potential impact for your business presence is a mistake. To begin to build that presence is not very hard and with these 3 simple strategy tips, you can begin to build your following and positively influence your potential and current clients.

Strategy #1: Use targeted hashtags related to your business. Create a list of 30 targeted hashtags and keep in a notepad to copy and paste. Search for the top 50 trending tags related to your target hashtags. ie. entrepreneur

Strategy #2: Run a contest. Set rules that the participants need to be following your Instagram page to win. Keep it simple! Give prizes related to your business/service. If you don't have a product that you can give away, create one! An infographic about the benefits of something related to your business or an ebook. If you can afford to give away a product, then do so, and also consider giving a trial size of a product as a prize. There's no hard, fast rule to what your prize has to be, just be sure to give the winner something of value!

Strategy #3: Shout Outs! Do not spam people asking for shout outs! Instead, give shout outs to your favorite Instagram accounts. Accounts that you regularly visit and already interact with. Ideally, these are accounts that are equivalent to the number of followers that you have and engage regularly with their audience. Use the DMs to ask for a shout out.

These are just some simple ways to begin to grow your own following on Instagram and build your own tribe. I wish you nothing but success in all you do and hope to see you on the gram soon!
